ŠKODA is pleased to announce the start of a new Fleet contract with ECG Facilities Services.

Milton Keynes, 11th May - One of the UK’s leading facilities management companies, ECG Facilities Services, has become the latest business to choose ŠKODA for its fleet by ordering a total of 51 Octavias and Superbs. The vehicles – made up of 22 ŠKODA Superb SE Business models and 29 ŠKODA Octavia SE Business GreenLine models – are all in candy white, and will be used by ECGFS’ Service Engineers.

The contract win comes off the back of a meticulous vehicle survey conducted by ECGFS, which covered CO2 emissions, efficiency, storage, comfort and ergonomics - ŠKODA's Octavia and Superb were overwhelming winners.

With the new order now placed, ECGFS’ Octavia drivers will benefit from up to 88.3 miles per gallon, from a car that is spacious, functional and packed full of clever technology. The Octavia was also recently named ‘Best Estate Car’ at the annual Fleet News awards.

Meanwhile, those that get behind the wheel of the ŠKODA Superb will discover a stylish car that offers high levels of comfort and unrivalled levels of passenger and luggage space for the class.

Patrick McGillycuddy, Head of Fleet at ŠKODA UK commented: “We are extremely pleased that ECG Facilities has chosen to supply its business drivers with ŠKODAs. Every new fleet contract is a testament to ŠKODA's core offering, which continues to offer class-leading CO2 emissions and excellent whole life costs without compromising on style or efficiency.”

ECG Facilities Fleet Manager, Tim Muir said: “When factoring in the results of our vehicle evaluation, road tests and costs, it really became a no brainer, ŠKODA Superb and Octavia were the right choice. We chose the Superb and Octavia Estates because they benefit our company with reliability and low running costs. The serious value ŠKODA offered meant we could also supply our engineers with high spec cars - we want them to be happy with their cars more than anything else.”

ŠKODA UK is delighted to annouce the renewal of its three-year fleet relationship with Trinity Fire & Security Systems (TF&SS).

Milton Keynes, 18th May – One of the UK’s leading independent specialist fire and security system suppliers, TF&SS has extended its longstanding contract with ŠKODA by taking delivery of 100 Octavia SE Business GreenLine Estates.

To find the perfect model for its drivers across the country, TF&SS conducted detailed analysis of the fleet market to find the optimum blend of frugality, CO2 emissions, purchase price, resale value, space and practicality. The conclusion of this analysis led it to the ŠKODA Octavia, a recent winner of the ‘Best Estate Car’ title at the annual Fleet News awards.

With the cars now delivered and branded in full livery, TF&SS's Octavia drivers will benefit from up to 88.3 miles per gallon, from a car that is spacious, functional, packed full of clever technology and which emits just 99g/km CO2.

Patrick McGillycuddy, Head of Fleet at ŠKODA UK, commented: “We are extremely pleased that TF&SS has decided to extend its relationship with ŠKODA. Time and again, we see fleet customers return to purchase more from us, which is testament not just to our cars, but also to our customer service provision. The Octavia SE Business is a particular hit.”

Trinity Fire & Security Systems‘ Fleet Manager, Gary Robinson, added: "Our criteria for business drives wasn’t simple, we had so many factors to consider. Yet, when all things were considered, the ŠKODA Octavia SE Business GreenLine Estate was the best choice, hands down. It's important to offer our engineers a high level of spec; they're the ones who live with these cars day to day. When I chose the Octavia Estate I wanted a car my engineers could put the family in on the weekend then whack the tools in the boot on Monday morning ready for work."

The ŠKODA Octavia is available with P11D values from just £16,230 and BIK of just 16 per cent. For more information visit skoda.co.uk/fleet.

The Octavia Estate has won the ‘Best Estate Car’ award from respected magazine Diesel Car in its annual awards. The hard-working Octavia Estate won praise not just for its load-carrying ability, but also passenger space, low emissions and ŠKODA’s high levels of customer satisfaction.

Milton Keynes, 12th May 2015 – The latest Octavia Estate has been a favourite of reviewers and customers alike since it was launched in 2013. Built on a state-of-the-art platform, it features a blend of cutting edge technology and the Simply Clever features for which ŠKODA is renowned, along with low running costs and a great driving experience.

Ian Robertson, Editor of Diesel Car, was full of praise for the ŠKODA Octavia Estate. He said: “Mid-sized estate cars don’t come any roomier than the ŠKODA Octavia, so it’s no wonder that this load lugging version outsells the hatchback edition, and sales volumes continue on an upward curve. There truly is an Octavia for everyone, including a fourwheel- drive drivetrain, DSG twin-clutch automatic transmissions and versions that emit just 85g/km of CO2, while recording an astonishing official economy figure of 88.3mpg.

“Family cars don’t come any better packaged than this, with generous space for passengers and cargo alike. It’s a quality machine, too, with stylish looks, both inside and out, and customer satisfaction levels that rival car makers are intensely jealous of.”

“The Octavia Estate is at the heart of the ŠKODA brand, with a version for everyone, from the frugal Greenline III to the speedy vRS to the rugged Scout. Thousands of new owners are finding out for themselves every year and we’re delighted to be recognised by Diesel Car,” said Chris Horrell, Product Marketing Manager, ŠKODA UK.
